Legal
Terms of service
Last updated October 7, 2026
By creating an ApprenticeLedger account you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a program or company, you agree on its behalf.
The service
ApprenticeLedger is a tool for keeping apprenticeship records. You remain responsible for your program's compliance with your registered standards, the Department of Labor and your state apprenticeship agency, including ratios, wages and reporting to RAPIDS or your state system. The ratio self-check and wage step reminders use the rules you enter and are not legal advice or proof of compliance.
Your account
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- The program coordinator controls who joins the program's account and can disable users at any time.
- Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break in, overload it, or access other companies' data.
Plans and billing
- The Free plan is free. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel any time from the Billing page; you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for. We don't give partial refunds.
- If a plan lapses, your data stays, but features and user logins above the Free plan stop working until you upgrade again.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email.
Your data
Your program's records belong to you. You can export them at any time. See the privacy policy for what we store.
Availability
We work to keep ApprenticeLedger running but can't promise it will never be down. The service is provided "as is", and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms and will email account owners about material changes. You can stop using ApprenticeLedger at any time; we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
